Problem: You have a lot of people sharing the same files and need a centralized storage location. Or, you need an effective backup that isn’t site-specific.
Solution: There are many reasons why you may need some online storage space. At Xdrive.com, you can upload five gigabytes of information and access it anywhere there’s an internet connection for $10 a month. Google will have a similar G-Drive available soon, and for free, too. Another option is to sign up for a Projectories account. Projectories is a Project Management web-app (uses AJAX much like this Wetpaint site) and it contains a drop box for files. Unlike Xdrive, there is a free account at Projectories which does contain some paid accounts if you require more space. At the moment it is still really early in developement, however. Try Driveway.com 2 Gigs free and 10 more if you have five emails that you don't mind a one time marketing email going out to.
